Helping Medical Professionals and Educators
At Milestones Financial Planning, we have developed a niche business serving medical professionals and educators:
-
Medical Professionals because, as more and more physicians struggle to survive the cuts of Obamacare and intrusive regulations, they find their 401k’s just aren’t enough for retirement security. Unfortunately, specific knowledge of and help for this profession can be difficult to find and/or involve a “cookie cutter” approach. Our solutions go beyond the 401k plan and help medical professionals devise a unique strategy to ensure they maintain their standard of living through 30 years of retirement.
- Educators because Michelle and I both fondly remember special teachers who went above and beyond for us. Like medical professionals, educators are an under-served class, depending upon a complicated and broken retirement system. We enjoy using our knowledge and skills to give back that encouragement so that educators can have a secure retirement that doesn’t depend solely upon their state pensions.
Helping You Achieve
Fiscal Fitness
Milestones Financial Planning is the sister firm of Fox & Company CPAs, Inc., (formerly Johanna Fox CPA), the home of the "Rapping CPAs"! But we're so much more and we're committed to sharing our financial knowledge and skills with our clients and the community at large. In addition to serving as a one-stop shop for financial planning to our clients in Kentucky and beyond, we believe in getting the word out about how you can live a richer, fuller life using Financial Life Planning.
In 2006, after over 25 years of owning her own CPA firm, Johanna became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Why? As a CPA, Johanna witnessed first hand that her clients needed a deeper, more personal level of financial planning and investment advice. In 2009, she took this goal another step further and became a Registered Life Planner™. Johanna has been the financial planning columnist for the Four Rivers Business Journal since its inception, providing monthly articles on various topics. Working with Johanna is Michelle Neiswender, an integral part of the business since 2009 who now serves not only as Milestones' office manager, but also as an apprentice financial planner. Together, Johanna and Michelle strive to help every Milestones client develop a sound financial plan based upon their most essential life goals.
